Registration Questions
Why are days “Locked” in the Calendar? Why are dates for the following months not opening until the 20th of the previous month?

A: We want to closely monitor demand for fittings and have the ability to potentially adjust dates if needed.

Why do you want my current uniform size?

A: We want to ensure everyone is able to be properly fitted and try on all of the desired pieces in the 45 minutes that is allotted for a fitting. By providing your size we can be more prepared for your arrival.

Can I sign up for multiple fitting appointments?

A: No, in order to offer everyone the same opportunity to attend a fitting we have limited reservations to one per person. You are free to change days and times as needed based on availability.

Why are there different appointment times available on different days?

A: As appointment slots fill up for a specific time, the times will fall off the list of available times. Once all of the available times are selected the day will show as “Full” on the calendar. If appointments are cancelled the day and times will reopen - so check back often.

Do I have to use my Delta email address?

A: You can use any email address you choose - make sure it is one you have easy access to and check frequently.

How can I cancel or change my appointment?

A: You can use the link in the email you received when you registered for your fitting or look up your appointment on the website or link here.

Who should I contact if I have an issue with registering?

A: If you are having issues connecting to the website please email newuniform@delta.com.

Event Questions
How long will my fitting take?

A: The fitting portion will take about 45 minutes to complete. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and fill out any necessary paperwork. If you would like to submit your order after you have finished you’re fitting please allow an additional 15 minutes. We will have iPads available to submit these orders online along with individual there to assist. Total time is estimated to be between 60 - 75 minutes.

What happens at the fitting?

A: At the fitting you will have an opportunity to try on a variety of the new uniform pieces to see which pieces you prefer and find the correct size/fit. There will be ways to test the fit, function, and form of your new uniforms as well. Once you finish exploring the options you can use the onsite iPads to place your order.

What happens if I am late to my fitting appointment?

A: As a courtesy to your fellow employees, please make every attempt to make your appointment on time. Fitting appointments will be subject to cancelation 10 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you know in advance that you will be unable to make your fitting, please cancel to give other employees the opportunity to attend in your place.

I already ordered my uniforms. Can I still come to a fitting?

A: Yes, you may order online and then come to a fitting to ensure you have ordered the correct sizes. If you determine that you ordered the wrong size for an item, please use the return information provided with your order to obtain the correct size.

What is the difference between the fitting locations?

A: There are layout and capacity differences between locations. However, we have done everything we can to ensure the experience is the same no matter which location you visit.

How do I get to my fitting? Is there someone I can ask for directions?

A: Your confirmation email will have a map along with written directions to the event. You can also get these directions by clicking on the map button on the bottom right of the registration page and then clicking on the city code of the desired location.

Am I required to attend an in-person fitting?

A: No, Employees are able to complete the ordering process by reviewing the measurement directions online and selecting a uniform kit from the Lands’ End website. There is a Virtusize tool on the Lands’ End site to help employees determine the correct size for their new uniforms.

Do I have to sign up for a time or can I just show up?

A: Appointments are highly recommended, however we will be taking walk-ins on a first come basis if there are available times.

Can I go to my fitting on break?

A: You may attend a fitting on your break with approval from your leader.

Do I have to tell my leader I am going to a fitting?

A: If you are attending a fitting during your scheduled shift, you must obtain prior approval from your leader and may be required to forego your appointment if operational demands change.

Can I attend a fitting that is in a different city then my base/station?

A: Yes, you may attend a fitting at any of the locations that are offered for your division.

Why are their differences in the number of days at each fitting location?

A: The numbers of days spent at each city was calculated based on the employee population located there. Large bases such as ATL, MSP, LGA & DTW have longer stays while smaller locations such as BOS, HNL or MCO have a shorter duration.

Will I have to wait if I show up for a walk-in appointment?

A: If you come by for a fitting without an appointment, we will do our best to get you in for a fitting as quickly as possible. However, there may be a wait if all of the fitting slots are taken. This will vary based on demand.

What times can I show up as a walk-in?

A: Before showing up as a walk-in, please check the Fitting RSVP tool to make sure there are not any open spot you can still take for that day. This will guarantee you a spot in the fitting location you chose at the time you chose. You may show up for a walk-in between 8AM and 6:15PM to try to get a walk-in appointment. Please note that we will not be taking walk-in appointments after 6:15pm as this our last appointment time.

Can I bring family and/or friends with me to the fittings?

A: This special experience is for you and only you. We ask that you do not bring family or friends to the event, as we will have a selfie wall to take many pictures to share with your loved ones after the event. Remember the hashtag is #DeltaReadyforTakeOff.

Can I wear perfume or cologne during my fitting?

A: Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne to your fitting appointment. The scent can linger on the garments along with inside the fitting tents and could adversely affect the experience for the next person.

Travel Questions
Can I fly company business? What if I miss my flight/cannot get on my flight to my fitting appointment?

A: Flying company business to a fitting is not permitted; you are allowed to use your Non-Revenue Pass Travel privileges to attend a fitting. In the event you are unable to make your fitting time please cancel you’re fitting by logging on to the website or using the link in your confirmation email. This will give other employees who are at the event a chance to attend.

Uniform Questions
How can I see what comes in the kits?

A: Please refer to Deltanet for a listing of all of the kit options and please have a preference in mind when you arrive to your fitting. The contents of the kits can be found here.

When do I receive my new uniform?

A: Orders must be placed on the Lands’ End website and deliveries will occur between January and April.

When do I get to start wearing my new uniform?

A: All employees will start wearing their new uniforms on May 29th 2018.
